As long as I can remember there has never been a time when I have not drawn or made something and over the years have experimented using many different mediums. After leaving school I trained as a display artist which allowed me to pursue my interests and develop new ones.

For the past 35 years I have lived in the Cornish village of Polruan and am still drawing and making things taking inspiration from the beautiful local coastline, the sea and surrounding countryside.

I try to make my designs bright and fun, making framed pictures and greetings cards many of which are made using glass paint on acetate – I love the jewel like colours and transparency of the medium; reminiscent of stained glass.  I also like to incorporate other materials such as watercolour and beach finds.

Displaying fabrics in a St. Austell department store gave me a love of fabric and I am a self-taught sewer producing applique cushions, bunting etc. with a nautical theme.
